We have been following the latest developments in the Float Industry regarding the COVID-09 virus.

So far it has been determined that floating is still very safe to do, as the virus is not water or air-borne.

 

The level of Epsom salt concentration on float pods provide a reasonable inactivation of the virus, in combination with our other sanitation procedures of hydrogen peroxide and UV-light, the pod water can be considered extremely low risk for contracting the virus.

 

As most of our clients already know, we take extreme measures to disinfect and clean our float room after each float, this was done even prior to the COVID-19 outbreak. The greatest risk at this point seems to be contact with the virus with hard surfaces and touching your face, or being exposed to the droplets by cough or sneeze by someone infected.
